United Together for Solutions to Forced Displacement

The Center for Durable Solution Dialogue (CDSD) is an independent, neutral, impartial, and nonprofit think tank dedicated to contributing to durable solutions for individuals displaced by conflict and natural disasters. The core focus of the organization is to foster innovative ideas, research, and practical interventions that alleviate the plight of displaced persons and contribute to their long-term well-being.

Our members and associates bring extensive experience in humanitarian response, displacement, protection, policy analysis, program design, research, and institutional development, with particularly deep expertise on the Ukraine crisis. They have worked continuously since the outbreak of the conflict in eastern Ukraine in 2014, supporting affected populations throughout both the initial phase of the conflict in eastern Ukraine in (2014–2022) and the nationwide humanitarian response following the full-scale invasion in 2022. Their experience spans assistance to internally displaced persons across Ukraine, protection and assistance for more than six million Ukrainian refugees across Europe, and support for Ukrainians seeking to return from international protection to their communities. Collectively, they combine operational leadership with policy analysis, program innovation, legal and institutional reform, and applied research, enabling CDSD to translate field experience into practical, evidence-based solutions for governments, humanitarian actors, and civil society.
